Overview

THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION - Experience training dogs required.

Join our team as a Dog Trainer and play a direct role in transforming the lives of dogs and their owners. We specialize in balanced training with a strong emphasis on clear communication, structure, and results. Our approach is highly personalized—every dog and client receives a customized training plan designed around their specific goals, lifestyle, and challenges.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about animal care, committed to professional growth, and coachable. This role requires a willingness to learn, apply, and consistently execute our training methods to ensure clarity and consistency for both dogs and clients.

Duties

  • Design and implement customized training programs based on each dog’s behavior, temperament, and the owner’s goals

  • Apply balanced training techniques to address obedience, behavior modification, and real-world reliability

  • Safely handle dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and behavioral challenges using structured, intentional methods

  • Clearly communicate with clients, providing coaching, education, and accountability to ensure long-term success

  • Maintain detailed awareness of each dog’s progress and adjust training plans as needed

  • Uphold high standards of animal care, ensuring the physical and mental well-being of every dog in training

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and structured training environment

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years hands-on experience in dog training with a solid understanding of canine behavior required

  • Coachable mindset with a willingness to learn and implement our training approach

  • Ability to follow established systems and maintain consistency across all training programs

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to confidently lead and educate clients

  • Experience handling dogs with behavioral challenges (reactivity, fear, aggression) preferred

  • Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work independently

  • Physically capable of handling large, strong dogs when necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $280.00 - $1,280.00 per week
